It comes from an Athena figurine found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns.

The goddess wears a tall stephane with an added helmet crest. Her hair forms locks over the forehead and falls on the shoulders where they are rendered in colour. The figure’s eyes as well as the brows are painted black. The crest is white with black and red bands.
